One free way of promoting your business & getting free traffic to any web site is by submitting articles about your products or site to appropriate blogs or article sites. You can get free ads & traffic to your web site here. There are other free sites, some of which I will list later. One word of advise, plenty of site will give you free advertising, or will let you send out free emails to members to promote your site, but you may have to accept 1 zillion emails from them a day. If every other member gets 1 zillion emails as well; I suggest most of your promotional emails will end up like the ones I get from from these sites - deleted without being read. That said it I get well over 150 visitors to my two other sites. I do not pay one cent for these visitors & have barely promoted either site. I'm sure I could treble the number of visitors if I put everything I now know into practise. If I can do it, so can you, happy marketing!
Wealth Generation Many Groups, Marketing systems or money-making sites on the web operate on a Matrix system. Before you join any of these find out how a matrix system really works. Many many legitimate programs operate on a matrix system, but they can bear some resemblance to 'pyramid selling'. If you are seriously interested in wealth generation from a matrix system - we will assume you have checked the company out & have decided they are worth giving a go - you should give serious consideration to buying into the first layer of the matrix yourself. To do this join (& pay) once & get your affiliate link. Then go to that link & join again. Repeat this step two more times. Most good matrixes have 3 in their first layer; join as many times as you need to to fill the first layer. Usually each membership requires a separate email address, so you will have to start enough (free) emails before you sign up the first time. You may be offered the chance to become a founding member of a matrix system. I have two pieces of contradicting advise for you. Either ignore it; or take up every sensible opportunity you get until you do strike the one that makes you money. Vortex do offer business opportunities from time to time you may join or otherwise as you wish. They also have members who have stayed with them for many years & claim never to have spent a cent/dime with them. If you are interested in affiliate marketing Affiliatefunnel are worth having a look at. They are a newer company, but seem to be quite free & have useful information. There are some other programs which aren't too bad & I will mention others at a later date. Many sites just seem to be variants of a theme, or are forever trying to get you to upgrade to a paid member; or send you nearly nuts forever emailing you the latest secrets of some internet guru which will change your live forever which of course you have to buy. Some seem crediable to begin with; but if the last 6 guru secrets haven't made them a fortune yet; will the next 6 or 60?
Do you need to know how to operate a computer & a basic knowledge of the web to operate an e-commerce business? Despite what some sites may tell you; my answer is yes, of course you do. This does not mean that if circumstances have forced you to work from home, internet marketing is not for you. Computer skills can be learned as can internet knowledge. Many countries offer cheap courses for older persons to learn the latest in computer skills. Also there are forums that can help you. Voda Host who I recommend for hosting your web site with have an excellent forum. It includes a section where you can get help with an problems your computer is causing you. They also provide the knowledge you need to build yourself a web site; or you can pay to get a member to build one for you. This way you can learn some skills before you even buy your own web site.
